PREPARATION
A. HYDRATE THE GROUNDED
- Hydrate the OG: Mix the Original Grounded TVP with 1 cup hot water and soy sauce.
- Stir well and let stand for about 5 minutes.
B. PREPARE THE PECAN FILLING
- Meanwhile, place pecans, dates, sun-dried tomatoes, half the bell pepper and olive oil in a food processor.
- Blend until the texture resembles ground meat.
C. COOKING ONIONS
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick frying pan.
- Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
D. COOKING GROUNDED
- Add the Grounded mixture to the pan and cook for about 3 minutes.

Stir in the pecan mixture and cook for another 3 minutes. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little olive oil.
E. ASSEMBLE THE SANDWICH
- On the bread of your choice, spread mayonnaise, add salad and cucumber slices, then garnish with the Grounded mixture. Add a balsamic reduction to taste.
- Serve and enjoy!
