GROUNDED was born during a 10-month journey around the world with our kids. As we traveled, we took time to pause, learn, and rethink different aspects of our lives, especially our environmental impact.
We discovered that 25% of all greenhouse gas emissions come from the food we eat. That realization quickly led us to a clear conclusion: changing our eating habits can have a major impact on the future of our planet, while also benefiting our health.
But as we moved toward a plant-based diet, we often struggled to find simple, tasty, and easy-to-cook plant-based proteins. That’s why we created GROUNDED—to make plant-based eating more accessible, flavorful, and effortless.
We believe this will help us achieve our mission: to make plant-based eating more mainstream and collectively reduce the carbon footprint of our food choices.
